Happy Birthdays

Leukemia is the most common type of cancer in children ages 0 to 19 years, accounting for 27 percent of all cases.  The leukemia death rate for children ages 0 to 14 years in the United States has declined 77 percent from 1969 to 2007.  Despite this decline, leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children, adolescents and young adults less than age 20*.

I’m fortunate to be celebrating my 28th birthday today, but for many kids getting to this age not in their cards.  I’m riding in the memory of 2 year old Dayton and 6 year old Nevaeh, and all the other little kids who will never celebrate making it to 28.

Help me make another year and another birthday a reality:  http://pages.teamintraining.org/txg/vbvegas12/brittani
